We decided to start Phonetics World after a conversation on how to say Sherbet. That's right-there's not an "r" in the second part of the word! Then other words that are commonly mispronounced came up (asterisk, library, probably) and a brand was born. But, we don't limit ourselves to mispronounced or hard-to-pronounce words.
